guest book / prayer list above...

thank you all so much for signing Tallulah's' guest book / prayer list. If you haven't signed it yet, please do. I am printing them out and adding them into her baby book. Since they are dated I am using them as a date tab to date and separate her photos. If you have signed it I appreciate your support. We are almost finished moving. We have all of Smiley-T's room ready to go, of course no pretty painted wall anymore because of....I digress, sorry about that folks. As I was saying, we have made a huge dent in the move. Very much in thanks to my brother Ramon and my friend Ryan for taking time from their days off to help us move and carry the heavy stuff. We really appreciate the physical help as well as the support!!! Tallulah is doing fantastic. She weighed in last night at a whopping 4 lbs. 7 oz. Yup. All the loving, praying, praying, praying and praying really are working. Not to mention her Wonder-Milk. She absolutely has to thank "Donor" for the nourishment that she is getting from it. She is a happy baby because of it. She is a very smiley baby. Some people say its gas but I don't believe that. If so she has gas a the same time that I am coooing and oooooooing her. Daddy filled out all of the forms at the hospital tonight. Tallulah has to take her final something-or-other-gram tomorrow and a pass a nippling / feeding test and then it'll be check out time from the hospital. Its exciting and scary. Everything about her coming home is the exciting part of the last sentence. Moving is the scary part. Getting in, getting it all ready for her, making the place feel...."ours" for a few seconds before she has to come live there. Today during the move my two brothers and me and Mark and Ryan were sitting in the living room taking a break from moving. We started chit chatting (really), and for the first time the house was "ours". Having my brothers there was really special to me. We just laugh at the same stories that we have told a million times...yet we laugh. I heart them! I cant wait for Grandma Jan to come visit us from Atlanta. Tallulah is going to know her socks off when she sees how much she has grown. She will be here in a few weeks or so and will be with us for a good spell and I cant wait. I think shes going to cry..... a lot....like she did last time. I look forward to her visit. Speaking of mothers, my mother has had a H to the U G E month. She retired from her job. That's right folks. She was an Entry Specialist for the United States Customs and Border Protection for some twenty-something years. I am sooooooo proud of her. My brothers and I are so proud of her. She is an amazing grandmother to Tallulah and has shown her the meaning of commitment and discipline. She is also smart enough to retire while she is still in good enough health to enjoy her time as a first time grandmother. She says that she could have stayed at work for another few years and it would have made a slight difference in her social security benefits but she would rather have the quality of life that comes with her retirement plans instead. I soooooo admire that! Shes not being carried out of that corporate America in a stretcher...nope. She also celebrated her birthday yesterday. She celebrated with us getting together at her house and eating an amazing meal. Pork chops, mashed potatoes, salad, arroz con gandules, and chocolate cake. YUMMY TO MY TUMMY! It was fun. Okay. Break over...back to my move. Talk more later....R
